Dell’s series of children’s books, created to support children with speech sound errors and articulation difficulties, is truly exceptional. I had the privilege of working with Dell and her grandson, Koben, throughout 2023 as his Speech Pathologist. Koben, who has Di George Syndrome, experienced significant articulation challenges that made everyday communication frustrating. Dell transformed those challenges into an opportunity to create something meaningful.

What began as personalised, hand-drawn resources tailored to Koben’s target sounds quickly evolved into a thoughtfully designed collection of engaging and practical books. Each book features vibrant illustrations and carefully constructed sentences that target specific speech sounds, making practice both effective and enjoyable for children.

Dell’s unwavering commitment to daily practice played a crucial role in Koben’s progress. I witnessed a significant improvement in his articulation and confidence, and these books were a cornerstone of that growth.

I wholeheartedly recommend Dell’s books to parents, educators, and Speech Pathologists. They are not only highly effective resources but also a reflection of the love, creativity, and dedication behind their creation.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Little Black Books have been an incredible support for my daughter’s speech development. The beautiful illustrations and clear visuals make it easy for her to connect pictures with words, and she truly enjoys reading each one.

With every book focusing on a specific letter or sound, they’ve been especially helpful in supporting her speech delay while building early literacy skills. I’ve loved seeing her confidence grow as she recognises sounds and engages more with every page.

I highly recommend Little Black Books to any parent wanting a supportive and beautifully designed resource for their child’s speech journey.
